FEAR NOT
Nothing exists that you need to fear
Or even attempt to comprehend,
If you would just depend upon God––
Refuse to allow your faith to bend.
Fail to succumb to undue alarm,
For God is watching you above.
Be encouraged and stay on the ship
That sails on the sea of God’s great love.
Fret not if you cannot see your way;
God will guide you through the stormy rain.
He will beam His sunlight on your path:
You, my friend, He will always sustain.
So be strong and face every new day
With complete trust in God’s faithfulness,
Knowing that God is in full control
And that He’ll calm the raging tempest.
Never be afraid of what lies ahead––
Be anxious about what is in store,
Remember that God is your captain;
He will lead you to dry shore.
